It’s easy to look outside and see what the weather is like, but what if you want to know what the weather is doing miles away from you? Weather characteristics like temperature, clouds, precipitation, and humidity are reported from hundreds of places around the nation every hour.
In Alabama, we really count on airport weather observation to paint the picture of the weather. Airports report hourly observations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we put it on a map that looks like this:
